INDIA — NETAL

 1 DAY

Collection at Chopin Airport in Warsaw, in Terminal A (new), in the departure hall. A trip to India.

2 DAY DELHI (India)

Arrival to Delhi. Transfer to hotel, accommodation. Breakfast and a short rest after the trip. Visiting the capital of India – Old Delhi. On the route Red Fort erected in the first half of the 17th century, after transferring the capital of India from Agra to Delhi, the Sikh temple with a beautiful golden dome, Jami Masjid – Friday Mosque (the largest in India), Raj Ghat – a memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi.

3 DAY DELHI – JAIPUR

Transfer to Rajasthan capital – Jaipur. Along the way, a tour of Amber fort – the former headquarters of the Jaipur maharajah, where you will find, among others, the exquisitely decorated apartments of Jai Singha and Man Singha, including the famous mirror chamber. Enter the fort on elephants or cars. Visit to the grinding mill of precious and semi-precious stones.

4 DAY JAIPUR

Visiting Jaipur – The Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal) with a beautiful façade (outside), the palace maharajah of Jaipur (museum), Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, emporium of carpets. In the afternoon – Jaigarh (fort Jai) overlooking Amber fortress and the city of Jaipur. Transfer to Royal Gaitor, Rajasthan Maharadian necropolis, including Jai Singha II maharajah. Tonight, a show of dances characteristic of this region of India.

5 JAIPUR DAY — AGRA

Visiting Galt's temples, famous for its natural sources – the purpose of Hindu pilgrimages. A walk through the garden of Sisodia Rani, which is an example of the garden architecture of Moguls. Transfer to Agra – the capital of the Great Mogul State since the beginning of the 16th century. Visiting the famous Taj Mahal tomb, erected by Shah Jahan in honor of his prematurely deceased spouse – Empress Mumtaz.

6 DAY AGRA

Departure to Fatehpur Sikri – The Dead City of Moguls, designed and built by Emperor Akbar. Visiting the buildings of the complex, including the Jama Masjid mosque, Panch Mahal palace and other palaces testifying to the power of the Mogul empire. Back to Agra. Visiting the Red Fort – the power center of the Moguls. Visit to a craft workshop producing marble products. Free time for a walk around the city and shopping at local bazaars. For volunteers, an optional trip to Mathura – the birthplace of Krishna, where the Hare Kriszna resort is located (approx. 15 USD).

7 DAY GVALIOR — ORCHHA

Go to Orchha. On the way to explore the impressive 16th century Man Singh fortress in Gwalior. Then a visit to Jai Vilas, the palace of the Scindia Maharajs, one of the oldest and most esteemed aristocratic families in India. Coming to Orchha.

8 DAY ORCHHA

Visiting the charming town of Orchha – Jahangira Palace, from which you can enjoy a picturesque view of the surrounding area, Raja Mahal Duke Palace with beautiful frescoes depicting scenes from hunting and the Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Transfer to Khajuraho.

9 DAY KHAIURAHO

Visiting the western and eastern groups of Hindu temples dating from the X-XII centuries with sculptures depicting, among others, erotic scenes, illustrating, according to new studies, the wedding of the god Grey of Parwati. In the evening an optional spectacle based on local folklor (c. 15 USD).

10 DAY VARANASI

Bus ride on Khajuraho-Varanasi*. Arrival for accommodation in Varanasi. The most sacred city of Hindus, constantly full of pilgrims from different parts of the country and the world.

11 DAY VARANASI — SARNATH

At sunrise, a boat cruise on the Ganges. Observation of ritual ablution in the sacred river, viewing palaces and temples erected on the river bank. Varanasi tour. The transition between the burning cremation stacks to Manikarnika Ghat and a visit to the temples – Golden Durga and Tulsa Manas. Back to the hotel for breakfast. A journey to Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon that started the development of Buddhism. Visiting an archaeological museum with heraldic lions on the Asioka column (the emblem of India). Then a visit to the silk fabric manufacturer, so-called glitters from Varanasi. Back to Varanasi.

12 DAY VARANASI

Departure from Varanasi towards the Nepal border. Border formalities. Overnight in Bhairawa town.

13 DAY OF LUMBINI (Nepal)

Departure from the hotel early in the morning. A tour of Lumbina, the birthplace of Buddha. A scenic route through Terai lowland to the Nepali jungle Chitwan National Park. Accommodation. An evening walk around the village lying on the river bank.

14 DAY B.N. CHITWAN

In Chitwan National Park there are over 100 tigers and almost 500 rhinos – 1⁄4 of the world population of these animals. You can also see crocodiles, hyenas, antelopes, wild buffaloes and elephants, over 500 species of birds and over 100 species of fish. Before noon safari on elephants – peeking at the life of the jungle from the elephant ridge. Boating on the river, visiting an elephant farm with small elephants. Overnight in Chitwan.

15 DAY OF PEKHAR

Passing one of Nepal's most beautiful lookout roads – through Terai lowlands, Siwalik and Small Himalayas. On the way (optionally) rafting on the Trisuli River (about USD 30). Arrival to the popular tourist destination from all over the world – Pokhara, with dozens of shops, bookstores, restaurants located on the shore of Lake Phewa Tal. From the town, on clear days you can see the masses in Annapurny.

16 DAY OF PEKHAR

Very early in the morning (only in good weather!) a trip up the Sarangkot hill. Approach to the performance peak ignition Sunrise over the Himalayas. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Free time in Pokhar, an opportunity to buy beautiful Nepali and Tibetan handicrafts. For the volunteers, an optional program – a boat trip to Phewa Lake (approx. 15 USD) and an approach to the Stupa Peace hill, from where you can see the summits of the Himalayas.

17 DAY OF KATHMAND

A drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu along the Seti River, then Trisuli; picturesque views of the mountains, stops at sight points. Evening walk around Tamel tourist district, where there are attractive souvenir shops

18 DAY OF KATHMAND DOLINE

Visiting Kathmandu Valley. On the route, the Hindu temple of the god Grey in Pashupatinath with funeral rites on ghats. Then a drive to the Tibetan district, where Buddanath stupa is erected (a type of religious building serving as a relic), one of the most important centers of Tibetan Buddhism (lamaism), a center of the religious life of Tibetan refugees. Back to Kathmandu.

19 DAY BHAKTAPU — PATAN — KATHMANDU

In the morning for volunteers (optionally) fly a plane over the Himalayas (approx. 180 USD). Transfer to the historic Bhaktapur, once the capital of Nepal. City tour –
Nyatapola temple, Durbar Square with royal palace 55 Windows, to which the Golden Gate leads (outside). Transfer to Patan (another historic capital). Visiting Buddhist monasteries – Golden Temple, Durbar Square. Back to Kathmandu.

20 DAY KATHMAND

Further tour of Kathmandu Valley. The entrance to Swayambunath Hill, where the most important Nepali stupa is located. Visiting the current capital of Nepal – Kathmandu. On the route, among others, Durbar Square with local temples and royal palace, House of the Living Goddess Kumari. A transfer to the airport this afternoon. A trip to Delhi.

21 DAY DELHI (India)

Visiting the capital of India – New Delhi. A complex of government buildings (parliament and secretariats – from the outside), the Gate of India, the Indira Gandhi museum in the house where she lived before her death, Humayun's tomb (prior to Taj Mahal), the Lakshmi Narayan temple, Qutab Minar – the tower of victory, Qutab Minar – India's highest minaret (72.5 m). Transfer to the airport tonight. A trip to Europe.

22 DAY

Arrival to Warsaw.
